ROBERTSON RESERVOIRS ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING WILL AFFECT WATER SUPPLY
Please be informed that the Robertson reservoirs will be undergoing routine maintenance and cleaning as per the following schedule.
During the cleaning process the water quality and supply from reservoir 1 and reservoir 2 will be severely affected. However, the cleaning process of reservoir 3 is expected to have minimal impact on the community.
Please switch off geysers and make alternative arrangements to store water for use during this time.
- 14 August 2024 – Reservoir 3 (Old Reservoir)
Areas Affected: Dorpsig (Heuwel Street North), Panorama, Môreson and Droëheuwel.
- 28 August 2024 – Reservoir 1
Areas Affected: Silverstrand, and the area between Johan de Jong Street and Voortrekker Street.
