Cape winelands world cup netball mobilazation

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, in collaboration with the Langeberg Municipality the Cape Winelands Netball Federation, will embark on an awareness and mobilization campaign as we build up towards the Netball World Cup 2023, an event that the Western Cape Province will host from 27 July 2023.

The Cape Winelands Netball Mobilization will take place on Saturday, 19 November 2022 from 08h00 till 14h00 at the Van Zyl Sports Ground, Robertson.

The aim of the event is to create awareness within our communities, especially with the focus on the development and promotion of Netball. We are aiming to provide a programme for the day that will contribute towards the sharing of expertise and create a fun-filled experience.

We are embarking on a day filled with awareness and resuscitation as we gear up the community and its surrounding schools to form part of history as we promote the Netball World Cup 2023 event.

Various spot prizes will be given out on the day, which will be facilitated by the Cape Winelands Netball Federation who will identify players. Entertainment will be provided, and the Cape Winelands Netball Federation will conduct all the activities alongside their prominent Provincial Players.
