COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS TO REGISTER OR UPDATE INFORMATION ON THE MUNICIPAL DATABASE

The Langeberg Municipality cordially invites all community organisations to register or verify and update their information on our community organisations database.

Who Can Join?

We welcome registrations from all types of community organisations involved in local affairs, including but not limited to NGOs, CBOs, churches, unions, schools, healthcare agencies, social service groups, fraternities, clubs, political organisations, and businesses.

Purpose

Our database serves as a vital tool to maintain accurate records of community organisations within the municipal area and to inform these organisations about opportunities for participation in municipal activities. This includes involvement in the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and budget-related engagements at both the local and district levels.

Benefits

Organisations listed in our database are eligible to apply for free usage of community halls once per quarter, subject to approval, for meetings related to municipal affairs. Please note that these facilities cannot be used for political activities.
