DON'T SET RUBBISH ON FIRE; POSES GREAT RISK TO COMMUNITY

Langeberg Fire, Rescue, and Disaster Services is facing a significant increase in organised fires to burn heaps of rubbish within residential areas.

We ask that the people that are setting alight rubbish fires refrain from doing so, because this does not only endanger lives and property but also puts additional strain on our emergency response resources.

The Western Cape Province as a whole is under enormous pressure with multiple fires, as the current weather conditions are ideal for fires to wreak havoc.
