HERITAGE DAY MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR

Heritage Day provides a special opportunity for all South Africans to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures that define our nation. It is a day to honour the traditions passed down through generations and to recognise and respect the diverse heritages within our community.

Our traditions not only connect us but also foster unity and understanding across different backgrounds. Heritage extends beyond the customs we observe; it encompasses the stories we share, the art we create, the music we enjoy, and the values we cherish.
