ROBERTSON INFORMAL TRADING AREA TO TEMPORARILY RELOCATE DURING CONSTRUCTION WORK

The Robertson Informal trading facility (Hope street), will be temporarily closed from 02 March 2024 until 12 July 2024 due to construction work that aim to improve the existing location.

The work will comprise of pothole repairs and surface rejuvenation, the construction of a disabled toilet, renovating the existing ablution facility, and erecting new steel constructed stalls.

During the construction period the informal traders will be temporarily relocated to trade at these identified sites:

• at the taxi rank in Hope Street
• on the pavement in front of the trading area.
