ROBERTSON SWIMMING POOL SEASONAL OPENING, 26 NOVEMBER 2021

This serves to notify members of the public, clubs and associations on the opening of the Dirkie Uys swimming pool during the Summer season under level 1 of the National State of Disaster COVID-19 regulations.

Upgrading works are currently taking place to improve the condition of the facility.

The swimming pool will officially open for the public on Tuesday, 26 November 2021, operating

Monday – Saturday : 10h00-18h00

Sunday: 12h00 -18h00

The Swimming pool will be closed during the following upcoming public holidays:

• 16 December 2021
• 25 December 2021
• 27 December 2021
• 01 January 2022
• 21 March 2022
• 15 April 2022
• 18 April 2022
• 27 April 2022

The Swimming pool under COVID-19 regulations can only accommodate 50% of its capacity per day, based on COVID-19 regulations issued & considering standards for occupancy.

• Use of the Swimming pool is permitted under the current level of Disaster Management is permitted with a limitation of 50 percent facility capacity. Mandatory mask wearing and a social distance of 1.5m to be adhered to when utilizing swimming pool and ablution facilities.
• Symptoms screening will be done on entry and anyone with temperature reading of over 38⁰C with other related COVID-19 symptoms will be denied access to the facility.
• Patrons are required to strictly observe social distancing in and around the pool.
• No showers or changing facilities area available. Please come dressed in costumes, ready for swimming.

If non-adherence to the above, and the mandatory protocols as issued under the National Disaster at Alert Level 1, are observed by municipal staff or reported by the public, the Municipality reserved the right to intervene and remove the individual/s to ensure no possible COVID-19 exposure and transmission transpires at the Langeberg Municipal Community Facilities.
