THUSONG SERVICE CENTRE WEEK

Thusong Service Centres are one-stop centres providing integrated services and information from government and other civil society groups, to communities close to where they live as part of a comprehensive strategy to better their lives.

The Thusong Service Centre programme was initiated in 1999 to extend government service in an integrated manner. Aligned to Public Service Month in September, the Thusong Service Centre Week runs from 16 to 20 September 2024 nationwide to promote services on offer.

Each centre is different in size and services offered. The community of Langeberg can find the following permanent services at the Thusong Service Centre located in Robertson on the Cnr of Wesley and Paddy Street:
