In the past three weeks complaints have been received in respect of the water quality in Robertson.
This is due to a high iron content in the water that results in the discolouration of the water and staining of laundry, especially white items.
Also, during this time of the year due to the warm climate, the water usage is extremely high that intensifies the problem.
The Municipality is currently investigating options to address this problem. Although the iron content is high, the water is still safe for human consumption.
