Water shortage impact the irrigation schedule

The supply of irrigation water in Robertson will be as follows from the 12th December 2022 (refer to schedule on https://www.langeberg.gov.za/langeberg-residents/irrigation-schedule):

12–16 Dec – Supply from Gum Grove dam

19–23 Dec – Supply from Noordedam and Suidedam

26–30 Dec – no irrigation water

2 – 6 Jan – Supply from Gum Grove dam

9-13 Jan – Supply from Noordedam and Suidedam, etc.

This will be applicable till further notice.

Should the water situation deteriorate the Municipality has the right to suspend Leiwater at short notice and implement Stage 1 water restrictions in all 5 towns.

The supply of irrigation water in McGregor will be as follows during December 2022:

12–16 Dec – normal supply

19–23 Dec – normal supply

26–30 Dec – no irrigation water

2 – 6 Jan – normal supply

9-13 Jan – no irrigation water, etc.

This will be applicable till further notice.
