Notice is hereby given that the Supply Chain Management Policy and Preferential Procurement Policy are open for public comments. The public is hereby invited to submit written comments or representations on the Supply Chain Management Policy to the Director Financial Services, Langeberg Local Municipality, 28 Main Road, Ashton 6715 on or before 03 January 2023, and or send to e-mail address: This email address is being protected from spambots. Any person who cannot write may come during office hours to 28 Main Road, Ashton 6715 where Mr Sabelo Ngcongolo (Manager Supply Chain Management) of the municipality will assist that person to transcribe that person’s comments or representations.

Council approved (at an Ordinary Meeting of Council on 24 October 2022) the Legal Framework for Procurement of New Generation Energy Capacity by Municipalities and Municipal Entities to be made available for public comments as per the MFMA Section 33.
