Attached is the final list of eligible ward committee candidates per block, per ward.

You can now vote for your ward committee representative per block, per ward. Only registered voters with a barcoded ID are eligible to vote.

Elections will only take place in those blocks where more than one nomination has been made.

Due to the national directive of the IEC they will no longer be assisting with the ward committee voting process.Officials of the Provincial Department of Local Government and Community Development Workers Programme will conduct the elections.

Langeberg Municipality will only provide administrative support during and after the elections process.

The nomination process have been verified on 13 January 2022 and the final list of eligible ward committee candidates per block, per ward, will be displayed as from 19 January 2022.

You can now vote for your ward committee representative per block, per ward. Only registered voters with a barcoded ID are eligible to vote.

The nominations list will be displayed at all municipal offices, libraries, the Thusong Centre, call centre, community halls and certain shops in the different wards. The nomination list will also be communicated through social media, SMS and the municipal website at www.langeberg.gov.za
