The Comprehensive Agricultural Support Programme (CASP) was established by the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) and is implemented by the Western Cape Department of Agriculture through its commodity focused approach in an effort to extend its services to producers within the Province. Notice is hereby given that the Langeberg Municipality is intending to purchase an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which is mSCOA compliant from CCG Systems Pty Ltd for a period of 10 years. The Municipality has followed an open tender in procuring this system.

The current contract with the current service provider is coming to an end and a system is needed to automate and manage the municipality’s core business processes. Over and above the core financial system, the proposed system includes a SCM module, Human Resources Management and Performance Management sub systems.

The contract will be for 10 years and the total costs of the system over the 10-year period will be as indicated below:

The Municipality is currently using different systems which are integrated. Purchasing this new system will come at no additional cost over the lifespan of the system as the current costs of the current systems (core financial system, SCM system and performance management system) are in line with the costing of the new system. This means that this purchase will not have an impact on the current tariffs of the Municipality but will add more value as it includes more modules than the current systems.
