Notice is hereby given that the Draft Tree Management Policy for the Langeberg Municipality will be available for perusal at all municipal offices, public libraries and the municipal website – www.langeberg.gov.za. Written comments must be lodged with the Municipal Manager on or before the 15 October 2013. Comments must be placed in an envelope and clearly marked: Comments Draft Tree Management Policy.

Notice is hereby given in terms of the provisions of section 75A (3)(b) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act No 32 of 2000), and section 14 of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No 6 of 2004), that the Langeberg Municipality amended the tariffs for water, electricity, sewerage, refuse removal, sundry items and property rates per Council Resolution  A  2865. The amended tariffs will be applied as from 1 July 2013.

Notice is hereby given that the Municipal Budget, Integrated Development Plan, Budget related Policies and Determination of Tariffs for the 2013/2014 Financial Year, are open for notice at all Municipal Offices and Libraries in the Langeberg area.

Notice is hereby given in terms of section 21(a) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act no. 32 of 2000), read with section 127(5)(a) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003) that the Annual Report be advertised for public comment for oversight purposes.
