TENDER 50/2020: PROVISION OF THE CASH-IN-TRANSIT SERVICE FOR LANGEBERG MUNICIPALITY FROM 01 JANUARY 2021 UNTIL 30 JUNE 2024

Tenders are hereby invited for the Provision of the Cash-In-Transit (CIT) services for Langeberg Municipality from 01 January 2021 until 30 June 2024 as specified in the bid document. Completed Bids, in sealed envelopes, clearly marked TENDER 50/2020: PROVISION OF THE CASH-IN-TRANSIT SERVICE FOR LANGEBERG MUNICIPALITY FROM 01 JANUARY 2021 UNTIL 30 JUNE 2024 should be placed in the tender box, at the Langeberg Municipal Office, 28 Main Road, Ashton, not later than 12:00 on 13 NOVEMBER 2020 when the bids will be  opened in public. Late, faxed or e-mailed tenders will not be considered.

Tenderers must be registered and be in good standing with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and have the required competency certificates to render Cash-In-Transit (CIT) services

PLEASE NOTE

The official Bid document must be fully completed in black ink in writing and bound.

Supporting document must be submitted separately and must be stapled or bound.

Only goods and services applicable to local production and content will be considered

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and council reserves the right to accept any tender. Tenders will be evaluated according to the Council’s Supply Chain Management Policy and the 80/20-point system will apply. The Supply Chain Management Policy can be viewed at Municipal Office or www.langeberg.gov.za.

Tender documents are available from 16 October 2020, on the Langeberg Municipal website: www.langeberg.gov.za or alternatively printed copies can be requested for collection from Mrs J Buis at the cost of R250.00.

Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in a class of construction works and have a grading designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004. It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading designation of CIDB Certificate of SQ3 OR higher.

The Supply Management Policy can be viewed during normal office hours at the Municipal Offices. 

Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2011 (Regulation 9. (1) and 9. (3) makes provision for the promotion of local production and content. Local production content applicable to designated sectors of construction.

Only goods, works and services with a stipulated minimum threshold as applicable for local production and content will be considered. The South African Bureau of Standards approved, Technical Specification Number (SATS 1286:2011) will be used to calculate local content.
