Only bidders who satisfy the eligibility criteria stated in the Standard Conditions of Tender (Clause C.2.1) are eligible to submit tenders.
Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in an EP class of construction works and have a grading designation equal to or higherthan that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25(7A) of theConstruction Industry Development Regulations,2004. It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading designation of 3EP or higher.
Only goods, works and services with a stipulated minimum threshold as applicable for local production and content will be considered.
The minimum threshold applicable to this project is:
- Two Way Radio Terminals and Associated Equipment
- Radio Terminal
- Fixed Station Radio
- 60%
All bids received shall be evaluated in terms of the Langeberg Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy, read with thePreferential Procurement Regulations of 2017. It is estimated that the 80/20 preference points system will be applicable.
Tenders willbe evaluated in terms of price and preference.
