Tenders in sealed envelopes clearly markedTender 53/2021 - Alienation of various available erven” must be placed in the tender box at the Municipal Offices, 28 Main Road, Ashton before 12:00 on Friday,10 December 2021 where after tenders will be opened in public.

Late tenders or tenders received by fax or incomplete tenders will not be accepted. Proof of dispatch of a tender will not be regarded as proof of receipt there of. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

DESCRIPTION          : CONSTRUCTION OF 3ML RESERVOIR, PIPELINES AND RELATED PUMP WORK

CLOSING DATE        : 03  DECEMBER 2021

CLOSING TIME        : 12H00: Bids will be opened in public at 28 Main Road, Ashton.

CIDB                          : Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in a CE class of construction works  

  and have a grading designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with  

  the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25(7A) of the  

  Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004.  It is estimated that tenderers will

  need a grading designation of 6CE or higher.

Office hours for collection:

08h00 – 16h30 as from 29 OCTOBER  2021 from Ms A. Mouries, Langeberg Municipal Offices, 23 Faure Street, Ashton. A non-refundable fee of R 250 is payable to Langeberg Municipality for collection of documents, alternatively the document can be downloaded from municipal website : www.langeberg.gov.za

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on 11 NOVEMBER  2021 at 10:00 in the Municipal Offices, 52 Church Street, Robertson after which the sites will be visited. Bidders that fail to attend the compulsory clarification meeting will be disqualified. A representative may only represent one tenderer at this meeting. The entrance to the meeting will close 10h10 after which no more prospective bidders representatives will be allowed to attend the clarification meeting.

TENDERS TO BE DEPOSITED IN: The tender box of Langeberg Municipality, 28 Main Road, Ashton.  The tender box is open from Mondays until Fridays from 08:00 until 16:30. This excludes weekends and public holidays.

NOTE: This tender will be evaluated in terms of the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017 that was promulgated by the Minister of Finance on 20 January 2017 in Government Gazette No 40553. Please take note of the responsiveness criteria as stipulated in the tender document.
