Tenders are hereby requested for the CONSTRUCTION / REPAIRS TO HOFMEYR HALL, MONTAGU BY AN EXPERIENCED CONTRACTOR WITH HERITAGE EXPERIENCE as specified in the bid document. Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in a class of construction works and have a grading designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004. It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading designation of CIDB – 3GB OR HIGHER. COMPULSORY CLARIFICATIONS MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THE 06 OCTOBER 2022 at 10:00 AT THE MONTAGU MUNICIPAL OFFICE, 3 PIET RETIEF STREET, MONTAGU.

Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation provided by the municipality and must remain valid for 120 days after bid closing.

Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in a GB class of construction works and have a grading designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25(7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004. It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading designation of 6GB or higher.

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on 07 October 2022 at 10:00 in the Municipal Offices, 52 Church Street, Robertson after which the site will be visited. Bidders that fail to attend the compulsory clarification meeting will be disqualified.

A representative may only represent one tenderer at this meeting.
