LANGEBERG MAYOR THANKS RESIDENTS

Dear Resident of Langeberg,

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who opened their hearts and doors to our fellow humans last night. Although it was a difficult situation, it provided us with an opportunity to demonstrate our love for our fellow man, for which we thank God.

A large number of residents have opened their doors. I also want to give a special thanks to businesses, guest houses, schools, and faith-based organisations. Residents who volunteered at the tourism office, neighborhood watch, and non-governmental organisations have made significant contributions to support our communities.

The municipal administration and councillors who were also out on the streets.

Last but not least, I am grateful to God for bringing us safely through a trying night.
