LANGEBERG ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE - 03 OCTOBER 2023

Several roads, in and around the Langeberg Municipal area, were affected by the extreme weather we experienced last week. Please see the status of the various roads below:
Bonnievale
- R317 Stormsvlei road from Bonnievale to N2 - Open
- Drew Bridge - Closed
McGregor
- Approach to Keisersriver bridge collapsed, tar road between Robertson and McGregor – Closed (Construction to rebuild the bridge is underway and is expected to be re-opened before the end of October 2023.)

The Stormsvlei/Boesmansrivier gravel road from and to McGregor is an alternative route now accessible by low ground clearance vehicles as well. (District Municipality filled up holes and placed sand bags.)
Montagu
- Van Riebeeck Street entrance from Ashton into Montagu - Open
- Long Street entrance from Ashton into Montagu – Open
- Entrance into Montagu via Barrydale – Open
- Montagu West road at walk bridge – Open
Robertson
- R60 between Robertson and Worcester - Open
- Low water bridge at Johan de Jong Avenue - Open
- Low water bridge at Hope Street – Open
