ROBERTSON LIBRARY OFFER FREE BRAILLE AND AUDIO BOOK SERVICES TO THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED

The Department of Libraries would like to inform the public that a mini–South African Library for the Blind Service is now available at Robertson Library.

Visually impaired members of the communities in the Langeberg, both young and old are encouraged to make use of this service which is offered at no cost. The library has a computer that has special software programmes to meet the needs of visually impaired patrons, they can use for business or pleasure. A patron who loves to “read” can receive the latest Daisy Reader which is able to download up to 30 audio books at a time to listen to at home.
