TAP WATER IN ASHBURY, BONNIEVALE AND ZOLANI IS SAFE FOR CONSUMPTION

As a precautionary measure Langeberg Municipality issued a drinking water boiling notice to the residents in Ashbury, Bonnievale town and Zolani on 22 and 27 September 2023.

Water is constantly tested for compliance and some results in the area was outside the norms and standards.

Since then, Langeberg Municipality has tested and monitored the quality of drinking water. As from 11 October we are glad to inform residents that the tap water is safe for consumption to a degree where precautionary boiling is no longer required.
