Tap water in ashton is safe for consumption

Last week Langeberg Municipality asked residents of Ashton and Zolani to boil their tap water before consumption as loadshedding impacted the municipality’s ability to treat, disinfect and pump water effectively at our water and waste-water treatment plants.

Since then, Langeberg Municipality has tested and monitored the quality of drinking water and is glad to inform residents that the tap water is safe for consumption.
