WATER SUPPLY TO ASHTON, BONNIEVALE AND MONTAGU SEVERELY AFFECTED BY FLOOD

Due to severe flooding at the Breede River Pumpstations at Viljoensdrift and Bonnievale, we are currently unable to pump water to the Bonnievale and Ashton Water Treatment Works. This also impacts the raw water supply to Montagu as water cannot be pumped from Ashton to Montagu due to the above.

We urge all residents to use water EXTREMELY sparingly during this period. Your cooperation is essential to ensure that we can manage the limited water resources effectively until the situation is resolved.
